Watch Dollhouse Week

Television’s changed a lot over the past few years. DVRs, iTunes, and streaming video are a few new ways to watch shows that ten years ago would have aired once at a set time. And maybe these new technologies can help a motivated fanbase affect whether or not their favorite show is renewed.

Watch Dollhouse Week (watchdollhouseweek.com) “is intended to bring Dollhouse fans both old and new together one more time to enjoy Season One before it comes to a close.” Every day this week, they’re suggesting a specific episode for fans to watch and discuss. Though the website claims this isn’t a campaign to get Dollhouse picked up for a second season, this looks like a sort of modern day letter writing campaign.

We probably won’t find out for a long time, if ever, if this affects Fox’s decision, but it’s cool to see fans using new technologies to interact with their shows, each other, and the network in new ways.
